I have never used switch resX before, I have find some tutorials but with no luck below I will give the info of my plasma screen could you please help me with this problem, can I solve this without switchresx by just triggering service menu options ? or if I need to use switchresx Please tell me how to do it, and I need the timing and resolution settings for this, trying for day please help me as soon as possible, this is really important for me and I feel stuck right now. Anyway the actual display is with the black borders on the top and right and left side, when I turn on Overscan option this time it goes and expands the screen so I am losing 5% of the display, In order to achieve 1:1 pixel mapping I need to use the Switchresx by the way I am using Snow Leopard 10.6.2.

I have just bought a new mac mini this week, I am trying to connect it to my Pioneer PDP 506 XDE plasma through DVI to HDMI cable, when I turn the mac mini it automatically sets the display mode to 1280 X 720 P which is also mentioned as 720P in the new mac minis.
